Welcome to our bushwalking club, based in Eurobodalla on the south coast of New South Wales. We share a passion for being outside, and offer walks and other activities that vary from easy to challenging, with leaders who are experienced and trained. Joining us is a great way to exercise, meet new friends and explore nature safely.
From Murramarang to Mimosa Rocks, there are many national parks in our coastal region to explore. There’s also Gulaga, Deua and Morton National Parks close by. Bodalla State Forest and Bermagui’s surrounds offer great opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreation too. We know many places to explore. Our volunteers have been leading walks locally and in other parts of Australia since 1986.
Fossil hunting in Murramarang National Park
Further north near Durras, the Wasp Head rock platform fossils are well known. This coastal hike went somewhere different, searching for 280 million year old fossils near Clear Point. Just over 3 kms from Pebbly Beach, this is a beautiful place to enjoy the scenery and wonder at the marine animals who lived when Australia was part of the supercontinent Pangaea.
