Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalkers
Walking in nature together
Welcome to our bushwalking club, based in Eurobodalla on the south coast of New South Wales. We share a passion for being outside, and offer walks and other activities that vary from easy to challenging, with leaders who are experienced and trained. Joining us is a great way to exercise, meet new friends and explore nature safely.
From Murramarang to Mimosa Rocks, there are many national parks in our coastal region to explore. There’s also Gulaga, Deua and Morton National Parks close by. Bodalla State Forest and Bermagui’s surrounds offer great opportunities to enjoy outdoor recreation too. We know many places to explore. Our volunteers have been leading walks locally and in other parts of Australia since 1986.
Exploring Gulph Creek in Dampier State Forest
Gold was discovered in the valley of Gulph Creek in the 1860s and Nerrigundah briefly became the centre of a bustling mining community. The rugged terrain made mining difficult but today this area provides a delightful place to enjoy a winter walk and marvel at the ingenuity of those trying to find their fortune.
